 What is the rainy month series?

 The Columbia Theatre's LIVE performance series for young families! The Fibre Federal Credit Union Rainy Months Series takes place on select Sunday afternoons during our rainy months of January through May. This series is an expansion of the Columbia's educational programming and emphasizes a shared experience for both children and the adults in their lives. Tickets are very reasonably priced at $10.00 per ticket or a family pack of 4 tickets for $30.

Big Bang Boom

Sunday January 26th, 2025, 2pm

Big Bang Boom is a pop/rock music group

from Greensboro, NC that plays parent-friendly

children's music. Established in 2007, Big Bang

Boom has released 3 CDs and performed at the

prestigious Kidzapalooza stage at Lollapalooza, the

Hangout Fest, The Lake Eden Arts Festival, and Musikfest.

This high energy engaging performance

is best for ages 3-12!

Alex Zerbe,the Zaniac

Sunday February 23rd, 2025, 2pm

America’s Got Talent Alex Zerbe the Zaniac has sung in over

12,000 showers and has the energy of 1,000 suns. Bouncing

from one end of the stage to the other like a rubber band,

this Seattle native juggles, slices vegetables with playing

cards, beatboxes, and dances. Every volunteer he brings

onstage becomes a hero and leaves with a memory to last a

lifetime.

Journey to Oz

Sunday March 30th, 2025, 2pm

The tales of Dorothy and her adventures in Oz are one of

L. Frank Baum’s most beloved works. In this adaptation,

audience members are invited to travel with Dorothy to Oz.

Doktor Kaboom – Under Pressure

Sunday May 4th, 2025, 2pm

Back by popular demand, Doktor Kaboom returns with Under

Pressure. In this exciting new work, Doktor Kaboom along

with volunteers from the audience, will demonstrate the

power of pressure. Pressure is all around us, although we

cannot see it, it affects us all. Equal parts interactive science,

comedy, and personal empowerment, Under Pressure

illustrates physical science concepts which are also

metaphors for some of the real-life mental and emotional

pressures we all experience.
